We collect food waste for a fee...from restaurants and food producers{homes too}, take it away & compost it, & GIVE it to local farmers.. To start I charged $10 for a single pickup of two 5 gallons pails, which I provide for free. For commercial operations it would depend on frequency and volume. NOW i CHARGE $10 for a single pail or $15 for two...Here is a survey I've made to feel out customers 1...do you recycle? if yes how much? { vs. garbage } 2... do you compost? 3... do you garden?? 4...do you have a lawn? 5... do you have any pets? if so how many? 6... how big is your family? 7... do you believe in global warming??? 8... do you agree local farmers could benefit from free fertilizer? 9...do you believe $10 is a reasonable price for this service? 10... can you imagine your home with no garbage?
