Over the years Crystal Classic Exteriors has built some amazing wood details.

Fir- Cedar- Pine- etc, all of these have different characteristics.

Some of these  are workablity- staining- splitting - cracking- weight- grade.

There are three things that determine the cost of the each detail made.

One is product  cost is in relation to the quality of wood, from Standard Tight Knot to Clear Edge Grain.

Two is the amount of  detail is in relation to cost the more detail the more cost in labor and add ons such as custom metal brackets.

Three is the staining of the wood and quaility of stain.

Some more expensive stains are harder to work with due to the vapor that is given off when working with it.

There are more stains out that are becoming water based.
