Drive in Rack Systems are designed usually holding 4 to 6 pallets deep and possibly 5 to 8 Pallets high referred to as high density storage. Utilizing warehouse space by taking up 1/3 of the space required for Selective Pallet Rack Systems.

 

Other systems would be pallet flow rack, push rack and carton flow rack. Cantilever racks are mainly used in long bulk storage systems such as lumber yards and pipe storage facilities. Cantilever racking is a good use of space as it stores a lot of product vertically, thus saving floor and yard space. For outdoor applications roof assemblies can be designed to keep products out of the elements with changing climates. Security fences and cages can also be designed to create secure lockup areas. The security fence provides protection from theft. The pallet rack can easily be fixed with lockable gates.
