This morning at one of the business groups I attend we were talking about social media and some of the impacts it can have on people both positively and negatively. Some of the negative impacts include anxiety, feeling lonely, struggling with self esteem and comparing yourself to others. If you are noticing any of these concerns with yourself or are not sure the impact it has on you I urge you to stay off of social media for one week and rate how you feel each day in the areas you were struggling with compared to how you felt when being active on social media.
