AOB Training & Consulting

AOB Training & Consulting is the training division of  Esteem Lingerie Inc.   We specialize in coaching and mentoring businesses using the tools, processes and real life experience of running a retail business in a challenging economy. We customize our training and coaching for the businesses we work with.

AOB Training & Consulting is run by Angela O'Brien, co-owner of Esteem Lingerie Inc. As an owner of a small business, Angela has learned from experience focusing on building a successful retail business from scratch. 

Prior to following her passion as an entrepreneur, Angela worked for in the insurance industry for over a decade primarily with BCAA and CAA of Central Ontario. Starting out in customer service and sales, she worked her way through the ranks and finally into the training and development. During this time Angela also volunteered extensively with JCI Canada (formerly known as the Canadian Junior Chamber) working her way up to National Training Director.

After completing her Certification in Adult Education, Training and Development (University of Toronto) she was promoted and started a training department for a division of CAA.  As a course designer Angela has developed numerous courses ranging from technical skills in the insurance industry to soft skill training.

Currently, Angela is a volunteer at  the Women's Enterprise Centre, dedicated to mentoring new business owners. O’Brien acknowledges the influence that mentors had on her career. “I have had a number of mentors in life and through-out my career. Life is too short to learn it all on our own.”
